The Lucie Foundation has extended the deadline for its photography grants to September 15th at midnight ET. The extension provides an additional opportunity for photographers to submit their work for a chance to win cash prizes and other awards.
The grants are open to both professional and emerging photographers in two main categories: Photojournalism/Documentary and Fine Art. Four cash prizes are on offer, with a $3,000 prize for professional winners in each category and a $1,000 prize for emerging winners. An emerging winner in the photojournalism/documentary category will also receive a Sony A7M4 camera with a FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II lens. All winners will receive a $500 voucher for services at Picto NYC.
Selected winners will have their work featured in a group exhibition in New York City at Picto NY in the fall. The exhibition will then travel to House of Lucie galleries worldwide, including locations in Athens, Budapest, Ostuni, and Samui.
The Lucie Foundation, a non-profit organization, aims to support photographers who are producing compelling and original work, helping to cultivate new talent and promote photography globally.
