Competition Details

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is hosting its annual “Summer 5 for $10” Online Art Competition in 2025, offering a unique opportunity for artists worldwide. This competition invites submissions for a chance to be featured in the gallery’s “Summer 5 for $10” online group exhibition.

This is an “Open” competition, meaning there is no specific theme, and artists working in 2D and 3D mediums, including photography and digital arts, are welcome to apply with their best representational or abstract pieces, regardless of their location or the subject matter of their art.

The artwork for this competition does not need to be “Summer” themed. Any subject matter and any media are acceptable for consideration.

Additional Information

Digital image files must meet the following specifications:

  • JPG files only
  • Minimum dimension is 1000 pixels on the longest side.
  • Resolution of 72
  • JPG compression quality of 12 (or the highest quality setting)
  • Do not send images of your artwork, which have been framed or contain watermarks.

LABELING GUIDELINES:

We only need the title of the image. Please fill out the entire form and upload all five (5) images (or less entries) before submitting. If the submitted images are not sized properly, the artist understands that LST may have to resize and crop the images to conform to the format constraints.

Image name may not exceed 40 characters. Please note that image name is the name of the artwork, not the file name.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:

When submitting your entries, we ask that you provide a short bio or artist statement (100 Word Limit). Tell us a little bit about yourself: your artistic training, your artistic inspiration, media choice, any special techniques used, any prior exhibitions… anything that you might like our patrons and visitors to know about you.
